An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Band 5 Nurse/Perioperative Practitioner to join the dynamic Adult Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) at the LGI. This is a fantastic role for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and eager to develop their clinical skills within a fastpaced, forwardthinking environment. Our PACU supports a diverse range of surgical specialties including vascular, plastics, orthopaedics, ENT, obstetrics and neurosurgery giving you the chance to build broad, valuable experience while caring for patients with varied and often complex needs. No two days are the same, and youll be part of a team that thrives on challenge, teamwork and highquality care.

Main duties of the job

As a Band 5, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, effective recovery for patients emerging from anaesthesia. Youll work closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team, including anaesthetists, surgeons, theatre staff, patient flow coordinators and ward teams, developing strong collaborative skills and confidence in clinical decisionmaking.
