Main duties of the job
- Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust will be responsible for the updating of pre-employment checks and recruitment files within the services key performance indicators while delivering a high quality, effective service to the trust and work with the HR officers, Recruitment Advisors and recruitment team leader to develop the service.
Location: 18 Mole Business Park, Randalls Road, Leatherhead, KT22 7AD
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday from 9Am to 5 PM
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- Responsible of updating TRAC jobs, liaising with managers and candidates as appropriate
- Responsible for preparing recruitment file, including download and printing successful applications
- Responsible for reviewing reference information provided on successful candidates’ application forms, requesting appropriate references, and highlighting inappropriate ones to the relevant HR Officer
- Responsible for reviewing successful applications for employment gaps and highlighting to the relevant HR Officer
- Responsible for undertaking data cleansing of TRAC jobs records or ESR as requested by the Recruitment Team Leader or Recruitment Adviser
- Responsible for ensuring all manual and electronic records on vacancies and candidates are continually maintained and all documents are filled correctly and in accordance with Trust guidelines.
- Assist with pre-placement checks for honorary contracts as required
- Provide assistant to HR Officers by initiating and progressing pre-employment checks
- Assist the Recruitment Team Leader and Recruitment Adviser in the review of processes, procedures and systems to support continuous service improvements, developing, recommending, initiating and implementing changes to promote the use of up-to-date methods and technologies (where available to improve quality control, efficiency and cost effectiveness).
- To ensure that our recruitment processes are streamlined and fit for purpose, with time to hire being as short as reasonably possible or in line with Trust KPI’s
- Ensure that all documentation is saved on electronic files
- Order ID badges
- Act as RA Agent to ensure that smartcards are processed for new and existing staff
- Book applicants onto induction
- NHS jobs is kept up to date and all closed vacancies archived
- Electronic Leavers files are stored correctly
- Chase recruiting managers for interview paperwork immediately after interview date
- Reminding managers to complete shortlisting
- Update NHS jobs and ESR with the DBS outcome received from employment services
- Assist with the rolling recruitment programme as and when required
