Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the 2022 SOR S.E region Team of the Year at  University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) . We are looking for someone who wants a career in the challenging and rewarding field of paediatric radiography as a Band 5 Paediatric Radiographer.

University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest teaching trusts across the country. It is one of the few major trauma centres for children in England. Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Paediatric Intensive care (PICU) is a 16 bedded unit caring for children from 0-18 years old. The neonatal intensive care unit is one of the largest in the country

The Trust’s Managed Equipment Service contract ensures a planned and guaranteed equipment replacement programme with managed maintenance and repair; this ensures we always work with the latest up to date technology.

Across the departments you will be working in, there are:  · 4 Xograph Triathlon T3 Precision DR rooms  · 1 Siemens Artis Zee Multi-purpose fluoroscopy rooms  · Large fleet of image intensifiers (Cios Flow, Cios Select, Ziehm Solo, Ziehm Vision R) · Large fleet of DR mobiles (Carestream DRX, Delft M1)
