Are you a motivated dietitian looking to develop your paediatric career in a supportive and friendly team? We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our small but highly dedicated community paediatric dietetic team covering the East Riding of Yorkshire.

We are a forward-thinking service, embracing flexible ways of working through telephone and video consultations, and collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team via MS Teams to deliver safe, effective, and child-centred care.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual who shares our passion for delivering high-quality paediatric dietetic care and making a real difference to children and families.

This is an excellent post for a Band 6 dietitian looking to expand their paediatric expertise while enjoying the diversity and rewards of community practice in a supportive team environment.

Must have HCPC registration and band 5 experience.

Main duties of the job

Based at East Riding Community Hospital in Beverley, you will deliver care across a range of community settings, including clinics throughout East Riding and Pocklington. The role offers fantastic variety, including:

  • One-to-one outpatient clinics and telephone consultations
  • Input into special schools
  • Participation in MDT meetings
  • Delivering group education sessions

You will work with a wide range of clinical conditions such as:

  • Food allergies
  • Nutritional support and enteral feeding
  • Restrictive eating and nutritional deficiencies
  • Learning difficulties and safeguarding concerns
