We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paediatric Audiology Team Lead to provide clinical, operational and professional leadership for our paediatric audiology service.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced audiologist to lead a dedicated multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality diagnostic and rehabilitation services for infants, children and young people with hearing needs. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care while supporting service development and workforce growth.

The successful candidate will provide expert clinical leadership, support complex case management and work collaboratively.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide clinical and operational leadership for the paediatric audiology team.
  • Deliver highly specialist paediatric audiology assessments and rehabilitation services.
  • Support and supervise audiology clinicians, promoting high standards of clinical practice and professional development.
  • Lead on complex paediatric cases and specialist assessments including electrophysiological testing
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care for children and families.
  • Lead service development, quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
  • Ensure the service meets national standards and best practice guidance for paediatric audiology.
  • Support workforce planning, service sustainability and innovation in service delivery.
  • Work alongside the IQIP's lead to obtain accreditation
