Are you passionate about working with and supporting children and young people who have been given a diagnosis of ADHD? We are excited to be able to grow our ADHD nursing service and have the opportunity for either an experienced nurse prescriber or a nurse looking to develop their career (and gain non medical prescribing skills) to join our team.
This is an ideal role for someone with experience of caring for children and young people with neurodiversity, or additional needs, who is looking to specialise in the field of children's ADHD.
The successful applicant will hold exceptional organisational skills and have the ability to manage a busy but varied workload. You must have the ability to work both independently and as part of the team. You will also need to demonstrate an understanding of ADHD and other additional needs to adapt your own communication skills, to meet the needs of the children, young people and families you work with.
The role will involve community based lone working in a variety of settings across the Gt Yarmouth and Waveney area. Therefore, a full driving license and access to a car for work purposes, is essential. The role will be offered as a band 6 training post for candidates who require or are working towards a nurse prescribing qualification, with progression to band 7 once qualified.
