OT Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant post based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital working within the stroke service.

The postholder will support qualified staff in carrying out treatment plans, ordering equipment and services, and liaising with community agencies to facilitate timely discharges. You will also have responsibility for some essential administration tasks and delivering and fitting of assistive equipment.

You will be an effective communicator, be able to work in a team and have an understanding of Occupational Therapy roles. It is likely you will have experience in a health / social care setting or have been a carer yourself and ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
