Do you want to be part of a new and exciting team, being involved in the creation of an asset management system across the Primary, Community, Dental Care Directorate?

We are looking for a Operations Coordinator to join our asset management team. You should be innovative, enthusiasm and looking for a challenge will an eye on success.  You will need to be a self starter and a great communicator and willing to input ideas and suggestions to help move this team forward.

The core function of this post is to ensure that the asset register (used for registering all assets and recording all amendments) is updated and managed in line with the Directorate requirements, and best professional practice.

To also work closely with the operational and clinical team at each site to agree a standardised register of assets at each site and relevant training in place.

Main duties of the job

  • Manage and maintain an electronic register of all assets on each ward, ensuring its accuracy and completeness at all times
  • Develop and undertake a timetable of activities to ensure the integrity and performance of the asset register
  • Provide data to influence future management and procurement of assets, ensuring all assets are linked with up-to-date procurement, service, and repair information
  • Prepare and produce draft management information and reports in a clear and concise format for internal requirements
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, both operational and clinical, to support the maintenance of the asset register
