We're looking for a proactive, organised team member to support Service Managers in the daily running of surgical services, with a key focus on theatre list coordination and optimisation.

This role is based in the Theatre department of SCH. The key purpose is to support the Service Manager with day to day theatre scheduling. This includes theatre allocation, theatre scheduling and utilisation of theatre capacity.

As an Operational support Manager, you will be part of a wider management team supporting a diverse range of services for children and young people.

About You:

• Experience/ability to work to deadline
• Experience of being able to work as part of a team, whilst being able to work independently
• Experience of working and negotiating with senior and junior colleagues

Main duties of the job

You will report to the Service Manager, and your responsibilities will include:

• Support day-to-day operational management across the Division
• Coordinate and optimise theatre list usage/ management
• Patient tracking
• Oversee scheduling and capacity planning
• Collect, analyse, and present operational data
• Information gathering and presentation
• Supervise and support staff team
