An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced manager to join the regional service at Stracathro Regional Treatment Centre.

SRTC is a busy elective surgery service supporting an extensive range of surgical specialties from across the North of Scotland Health Boards, giving the successful postholder opportunities for collaboration and networking with multiple regional partners. The successful post holder will also have opportunities to develop knowledge and experience by contributing to relevant planned care, outpatient and divisional service provision.

The post is predominantly based on the Stracathro Hospital site but travel to/working from other NHS Tayside and/or regional sites will be required.

Participation in the out of hours Duty Manager Service is a core requirement of the role. Applicants should also note that extended day/weekend/public holiday working will be required to meet the needs of the out of hours Duty Manager service.

Applicants must be educated to degree /ILM5 level with extensive experience in coordination and scheduling of elective surgery and management of operating theatre utilisation.
