Job summary

Main duties of the job

You will work as an autonomous practitioner alongside Senior Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants as well as all other members of the Multi-disciplinary team. There will be an emphasis of working in a trauma informed way, utilising Occupational Therapy principles.

You will have opportunities to develop your skills and engage in clinical and managerial supervision. The role will also involve facilitation of Occupational Therapy Groups and potential to co facilitation groups with the wider team.

We are a specialist NHS Foundation Trust that provides community, mental health and learning disability services for the people of Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. We also provide low and medium secure services and are the lead for the west Yorkshire secure provider collaborative.
