An exciting, brand-new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Band 4 Occupational Therapy Rehabilitation Assistant Practitioner to join the team at the Colman Centre for Specialist Rehabilitation Services within Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. We would welcome applicants who are organised, resourceful and have a passion for supporting and enhancing the work of the Occupational Therapy team and advocating for our patients with complex needs. • The role includes working with patients and their families, under the direction of qualified therapists.
  • The needs of this patient group demand physical and mental resilience, and a need to engage in manual handling activities, personal hygiene care tasks, and to work with people who have challenging behaviours.
  • The role includes indirect tasks which support the patient’s care and therapy needs, such as administration tasks and management of equipment.
  • The role is based in the inpatient but will involve driving.
