Moray Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join our expanding Primary Care Occupational Therapy Service. Established in April 2022, the service continues to grow, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative approach to supporting patients within GP practices.

About the RoleAs a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner, you will work alongside qualified Occupational Therapists within the Linkwood and Maryhill GP practices.

You will be a key part of the multidisciplinary Primary Care team, contributing to high quality, person centred care.

Your responsibilities will include:• Carrying out and adapting treatment plans and interventions as prescribed by an Occupational Therapist• Supporting patients to maximise independence and adopt effective self management strategies• Promoting health and wellbeing through targeted therapeutic approaches• Working collaboratively within a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary environment

You will receive clinical supervision from a qualified Occupational Therapist and access to ongoing professional development.

Applicants should demonstrate relevant experience in a hospital, community, or care setting, along with a willingness to undertake further training.
