We are excited to offer this  opportunity for a qualified Occupational Therapist  to join the multidisciplinary ream supporting neurodiverse  children , young people and families within Manchester .

This is a development post in which the entry grade is a Band  5 which will then be progressed to a Band 6 following successful completion of a set of competencies .

The post holder will support an needs led offer of care and offer Occupational Therapy assessment , brief interventions and consultations.

This will involve  facilitating training in order to empower parents and carers  in addition  to drop in sessions and some bespoke interventions.

They will join a well established Occupational Therapy team who will provide  both mentorship and clinical supervision.

Main duties of the job

• Offer Occupational therapy  assessments
• Offer Occupational Therapy  Interventions including training and workshops
• Contribute to Neurodevelopmental  assessments
• Contribute to service development
• This is post which will provide developmental opportunities  supporting both in house and eternal training in order to equip the post holder with specialist clinical skill.
