The Health at Work Service at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is nationally accredited as a Safe, Effective, Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS).

We are committed to providing an environment which supports a healthy work life balance, our opening hours are between 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday and will be pleased to consider a variety of flexible working options to suit your needs.

In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary,  subject to a minimum payment of £1,258 and a maximum payment of £2,121 pro rata.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide advice that aims to protect and promote health and wellbeing of employees of a variety of organisations.

You will be providing clear impartial advice to both managers and employees to optimise health and wellbeing at work, reduce sickness absence and prevent work related ill health and injury.

You will also advise East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and external clients on strategies to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Additionally, you will assist the health at work team to provide, maintain and develop a first-class health at work service.

You will also need to contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, protocol and standards of practice.
