This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a resident doctor with an interest in education to develop as a clinical medical educator. It also offers the opportunity to be involved in the exciting field of simulation. It is aimed at those who wish to build on their personal teaching experience to develop expertise in educational theory and practice and undertake supervised educational research. To assist Hillingdon Hospital Module lead for Brunel Medical School and Firm lead for Imperial College School of Medicine in their educational strategy to design, develop, deliver and evaluate Clinical Education Programmes which encompass essential clinical skills, high fidelity simulation, human factors, communications skills and patient safety training.
The post holder will support the Trust in its delivery and development of high quality teaching in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This will be mainly to undergraduate medical students of Imperial College, London, which is a corporate strategic aim, and Medical School requirement. This post has a developmental role and will be organisational, aspirational, involve curriculum planning, as well as direct delivery of Teaching.
