Main duties of the job

• To provide expert enteral and parenteral nutritional advice to all patients within the Dudley Group.
• To ensure patients progress along agreed nutrition pathways, which are supported by the implementation of evidence based practice.
• To provide expert support in the management of patients with malabsorption syndromes.
• Plan, evaluate and implement care, problem solve and ensure that nutritional support is delivered safely, effectively and appropriately.
• Participate in the implementation of national standards and guidelines relating to nutrition support and monitor their effectiveness.
• Assess patients referred for nutritional support and effectively communicate treatment plans.
• Support patients in the complex nutrition virtual ward
