Main duties of the job

Leeds Children's Hospital is one of the largest Children's Hospitals in the UK and is part of the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Based in one of the fastest growing and most vibrant cities in the UK, we provided secondary and tertiary care to children, young people and their families from Leeds, Yorkshire and the Nort of England. The Children's and Teenage Oncology and Haematology service incorporates a Principal Treatment Centre for Children, and for Teenagers and Young Adults (TYA) with Cancer. We have a JACIE accredited Stem Cell Transplant Unit for Children's and Young People, which forms part of the West Yorkshire Bone Marrow Transplant programme. We care for Children and Young People with a range of non-malignant haematological disorders; Leeds is a Comprehensive Care Centre for Haemophilia and a Specialist Centre for Haemoglobinopathy.
