Job overview

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the specialist Neurorehabilitation service, working out of the purpose-built specialist rehabilitation centre at University Hospital Llandough (UHL).

The post is part time (35 hours) and the successful applicant will have excellent communication and IT skills and work well within a multi-disciplinary team.

English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

The main role of this post is to provide co-ordination of the patient pathway and multidisciplinary team for the specialist Neurorehabilitation and PDOC (Prolonged Disorder of Consciousness) services across Wales.

This will primarily involve collecting, recording, analyzing and reporting of statistical data (as required by JCC, the Health Board's Commissioning Team and nationally), as well as being responsible for providing an accurate and timely account of the entire patient pathway, tracking the progress of patients from referral through to the eventual discharge destination.

The postholder will be expected to communicate and liaise with key personnel along the pathway, recording accurate information and acting as a single point of contact for specialist neurorehabilitation and PDOC services.
