Are you a passionate and motivated nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of premature and sick newborns and their families? Whether you're an experienced Neonatal Nurse with or without  a Qualification in Specialty (QIS), we would love to hear from you. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at University Hospital Southampton has recently undergone an exciting expansion, making this a fantastic time to join our friendly and forward-thinking team. As a Level 1–3 unit and a regional centre for cardiac and surgical neonatal care, we take referrals from across the Wessex Region and work closely with regional maternity services .

You will work alongside a highly skilled team, caring for the region’s most complex neonates. Our unit is proud to promote Family Integrated Care and includes a wide range of specialist services such as the regional transport team (SONET), a dedicated family support and psychology team, and surgical specialist nurses – all ensuring excellent support at the bedside.
