- Act as an expert resource within the National Frameworks Team within the Mental Health, Learning Disability & Vulnerable Groups Directorate of the NWJCC.
- Responsible for the quality assurance of provider services collaboratively commissioned via the National Framework Agreements.
- Provide specialist advice for other agencies and professionals regarding the clinical management of individuals presenting with mental health conditions.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
- Clinically audit providers of collaboratively commissioned MHLDVG services under the National Framework Agreements
- Ensure providers reduce risk and promote hope, recovery and rehabilitation.
- Ensure quality and safety concerns about providers are raised, discussed, collated and disseminated by statutory agencies, Local authorities and UHBs.
- Facilitate collaborative working between providers and commissioners to ensure safe and effective care.
- The majority of functions undertaken are proactive performance management or reactive to situations that have arisen. Formal reviews are undertaken with providers, and UHB’s which examine use of collaboratively commissioned services compared to plans and progress towards achieving service quality as set out in the service specification.
