Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 1.0 Whole Time Equivalent (WTE) Band 5 MRI Radiographer to join the UHNM team, supporting the expansion of our scanning service.

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in the NHS and a demonstrable keen interest in cross sectional imaging. In-house MRI training would be provided.

In this role, you will play a key part in driving high-quality patient care and contributing to the continued success and development of our services. You must have the ability to participate in the MRI rota, including long clinical shifts from 7am-8pm and flexible rotation across all UHNM Imaging sites, including the newly established Community Diagnostic Centre.

  • Performing high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient care
  • Supervising and mentoring students
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest MRI techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and Trust policies
