Job summary

Main duties of the job

We welcome clinicians who can work autonomously and hold a complex caseload of children and young people with varying levels of risk. You should embrace teamworking across the wider services with CYPMHS service and third sectors services. You will have a positive response to change and be forward thinking in your outlook. Your role will add value and contribute to the development of this service by:

  • Providing consultation, training, advice, and support to staff in education settings as part of the Whole Setting Approach
  • Offering high quality early direct intervention support to young people and their families who are experiencing mild to moderate emotional wellbeing difficulties
  • Supporting and supervising colleagues within the teams
  • Decision making regarding referrals and liaison with other services
  • Working with multiple services on various sites across the city; liaising with staff; helping to develop pathways; partnership working
  • Provide dynamic flexible support which is needs led to all areas of the city
