Milton Keynes University Hospital Maternity team are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible midwives who have a passion for working within the GP based community midwifery setting. You will work in collaboration with women and their families, supporting personalised choice, and high standards of care.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Clinical Practice

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care consistent with evidence-based practice for service users, parents, babies and families

Communication and Relationship Skills

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the multi-professional team, allied groups within the acute Trust and Community Health, public and voluntary sector

Professional and Legal Responsibilities

  • Abide by legal requirements and statutory rules relating to practice in accordance with the NMC Code of professional standards and behaviour

Education, Training and Development

  • Undertake appropriate activities to update professional knowledge and skills
