NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is delighted to announce the expansion of our dedicated Homebirth Team. We are looking for passionate, motivated, and compassionate Band 6 Midwives who are committed to providing personalised, women-centred care in the community.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a small, close-knit caseload team where continuity, autonomy, and meaningful relationships with women and families are at the heart of what we do.
The role:
The post holder will assist the Senior Charge Midwife to deliver high quality evidence based woman and baby centred care. You will be involved in providing both individualised patient care and in planning, implementing and evaluating clinical care within all areas of the maternity service, ensuring compliance with Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GG&C) policies and procedures and maintaining statutory requirements in accordance with the NMC.
