Medical Workforce Operations Manager

• As part of the People Services offer to the Trust, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, Medical Workforce function at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay.  The Medical Workforce Operations Manager will report to the Associate Director – Strategic Medical Workforce and provide direct line management and leadership to the Medical Workforce Team (Medical Recruitment, E-Systems, Medical HR, Rota Co-ordination). You will work across the Trust, liaising with Divisions / Directorates and medical staff at all levels, to ensure that the Medical Workforce function is operationally efficient to deliver an effective service across the organisation.  You will assist with strategic planning and delivery of medical workforce changes, provide a key source of expert knowledge and understanding of national medical workforce agendas, including Medical & Dental Terms & Conditions of Service, job planning, rota design and medical workforce transformation. Supporting the Associate Director – Strategic Medical Workforce, you will take a lead role on the interpretation and local application of national policy / legislation, developing and implementing appropriate Trust policies, systems, and processes as they apply to the medical workforce.
