Medical Secretary (Ref: 245816)
Fixed Term for 12 months
Full Time – 36 hours per week
Band 4 - Salary Range £31,537 - £34,303 per annum
Distant Island Allowance of £2,578 per annum
Do you have secretarial skills and experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Standard Grade or equivalent in English? Would you like to play a key role in our busy Medical Records team?
Duties are varied and include organising clinics and appointments, audio typing confidential correspondence and dealing with enquiries along with recording and collating patient information. Strong administrative and communication skills, together with the ability to work unsupervised and to tight deadlines are essential requirements. You should also be able to display empathy and a strong sense of patient focus.
This contract is for a fixed-term for 12 months with an anticipated start date of July 2026. The reason for the fixed-term contract is maternity leave cover.
