Part-time GP Medical Receptionist – 30 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for a part time GP Medical Receptionist to join our friendly, forward thinking team. The vacancy is for 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 12pm until 6pm. You will also be required to cover occasional holiday/sickness leave.

As a GP Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. This role will include dealing with patients over the telephone and face-to-face, processing prescriptions, making appointments and a range of other administrative duties. You will be an essential part of our team ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and providing the best service to our patients.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, caring, enthusiastic, forward thinking and highly motivated. The successful candidate will be working in a very busy, demanding reception and must have the ability to work under pressure. They will have excellent communication, telephone and IT skills, be flexible, organised and reliable.

Previous experience in a medical reception or customer service role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Eligibility to join NHS pension scheme.
