MDT Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and well‑organised MDT Coordinator to join the Newham Specialist Psychotherapy Service (SPS), providing comprehensive administrative support to the Newham Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT) Services.

This is a pivotal role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a busy mental health environment. The successful candidate will be confident using digital systems, able to manage competing priorities, and committed to supporting safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care.

You will be responsible for coordinating and preparing MDT meetings, managing referrals and caseload information, maintaining accurate records on clinical systems (such as RiO), and ensuring actions from meetings are captured and followed up promptly. You will also act as a central point of contact for clinicians, external partners, and service users for all MBT‑related queries.

The MDT Coordinator plays an essential part in ensuring the smooth running of clinical pathways and supporting the team to deliver timely assessments, reviews, and interventions.

You’ll be joining a friendly, skilled team that values collaboration, growth, and making a meaningful difference within the Newham community. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in specialist mental health services.
