We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated nurse to join our dynamic Maternity Recovery/High Dependency team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional care to women requiring enhanced monitoring and support during pregnancy and the postnatal period.

Main duties of the job

Working with our specialist maternity service, you will provide high quality post operative and post anaesthetic care to women following procedures such as caesarean sections, ensuring a safe and supporting recovery for mothers. You will play a key role in monitoring women in the immediate postnatal period, managing pain effectively and recognising early signs of deterioration. Collaborating closely with midwives, obstetricians, and anaesthetist’s you will contribute to the multidisciplinary approach that prioritises dignity, safety, and family centred care. You will also care for women with complex or high-risk conditions who require a higher level of observations and clinical management. This role offers the chance to develop advanced skills working alongside the multidisciplinary team committed to providing safe, personalised, and high-quality care.
