This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Mammographer to join our friendly and motivated multidisciplinary team at Cheshire and Stockport Breast Screening Programme (East Cheshire, Mid Cheshire and Stockport).
Screening and symptomatic services are offered at the Macclesfield Breast Screening Centre with 3 Siemens digital mammography sets, 2 with stereo/tomosynthesis capabilities.
Mobile screening in Stockport is provided on a mobile van with Siemens digital mammography.
Travel is essential to this role, so please demonstrate how you would meet these requirements. A genuine occupational qualification applies to these posts under section 6 of the Sex Discrimination Act of 1975 and therefore they are restricted to female applicants only.
Hours per week: 0/Bank
This position is offered on a Bank basis which is ‘as and when’ required with no guaranteed hours, however it does offer you increased flexibility by selecting shifts to work around your lifestyle.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality mammography service as part of the National Health Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) and Symptomatic Service for East Cheshire NHS Trust Breast Multidisciplinary Team.
