Part time 22.5 hours per week (Wed 0830-1630, Thurs 0830-1800, Fri 0800-1630), all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
The Diagnostic Imaging service at Milton Keynes University Hospital provides a breast screening (NHSBSP) and symptomatic imaging service for the population of Milton Keynes. This is delivered from both the static breast unit and mobile screening unit locations. The Imaging department invests in a high quality of patient care of which we are proud, and the local community has confidence. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the team in continuing to provide high quality care within the department.

It is an exciting time to join the breast imaging team following the re-design of the unit, which has seen the installation of a third room with tomosynthesis and CESM and CESM biopsy and a newly designed staff hub. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute existing and transferable skills in this role.
We are seeking applications from qualified, enthusiastic, caring and motivated mammographers to join our friendly multidisciplinary team, so you will need to be able to work collaboratively at all times. You will be a proactive team member who is willing to take on responsibility when needed and have a flexible approach to the needs of the department. This is essential as there is a requirement for evening and possible weekend work.
You will be a HCPC registered Radiographer and hold a UK regulated level 7 postgraduate qualification in Mammography.
Please note that if your qualification is from overseas, you will need to provide a UK ENIC Statement of Comparability confirming that your qualification is equivalent to a level 7 postgraduate qualification. Due to the nature of the role and to encourage women of all cultures and religions in our community to access breast screening all applicants must be female.
