NHS Lanarkshire is thrilled to announce exciting opportunities for Modern Apprenticeships in Maintenance at University Hospital Monklands.
Annex 21 - As a trainee your pay is determined as a percentage of pay for qualified staff, in accordance with Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change terms and conditions so you will be paid 60% of the salary in year 1. Your salary will be reviewed annually in accordance with the Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions, ensuring fair and structured progression throughout your apprenticeship.
If successful, you will be appointed on a salary aligned with the Scottish National Living Wage.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will transition to the appropriate salary scale for the role, reflecting your new qualifications and responsibilities.

Duties as a Maintenance Technician may include:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain engineering and building services (e.g. electrical, water, HVAC) to ensure statutory compliance.

- Carry out planned preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance, completing all required documentation.
