Applications are invited for the post of Electrical Maintenance Craftsperson within the Estates Operational Maintenance team based at Glangwili General Hospital.
The post holder will support the site operational management staff with the Electrical day to day operational Engineering maintenance, which will include autoclaves, washer disinfectors , fire alarm systems, nurse call systems, PAT testing etc.
The post holder will be expected to undertake essential on-call duties as part of the on-call team. On-call rota is 1 in 6.
The Electrical Craftsperson will be part of a team ensuring that Electrical plant and equipment are maintained to an appropriate standard to support clinical service departments in their prime task of treating patients.
The post-holder will be an integral part of a strong site based locality team structure.
Ensure maintenance tasks are fulfilled.
Performs work including activities which are complex and/or non-routine.
Responsible for calibration and fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment.
Installation of new equipment and also new electrical services.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

There is an opportunity to apply to commence at a higher point on the pay scale where applicants can demonstrate relevant transferable skills, experience, and qualifications.
