Locum Consultant for 9 months until 30th March 2025

We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative individual to join our team as a Locum Consultant in Gynaecology in NHS Tayside. Applications are invited for a full time 10 Programmed Activities (PA) per week Consultant Gynaecologist post to support delivery of planned care to reduce long waits.

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking team and are keen to recruit a colleague who will work flexibly with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in the provision of Women’s Health services across the entirety of NHS Tayside This an exciting time of redesign within Women’s services where we are improving our patient pathways to ensure a streamlined process to meet the needs of patients, families and staff across our services.

The expectation is that the successful candidate will mainly provide out-patient clinics to support an improvement in our longest waits for Gynaecology planned care across NHS Tayside.

There is no need to provide out of hours cover and this will be a full time in hours post for delivery of planned care.
