Job overview

This post is for a  Locum Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, working across the geographical areas covered by the Regional Cardiac Centre.  The appointee will join a team making up 11 Consultant Cardiac, Thoracic and Cardiothoracic colleagues and will participate in a 1:6 cardiac on call rota at Victoria Hospital. A specific aortic on-call rota 1:4 is under consideration and the successful candidate will take part in this rota.

An interest in specialist aortic work would be desirable.

The successful candidate will join a multi-professional team based at the Lancashire Cardiac Centre, Blackpool Victoria Hospital and be employed by the Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
