Lead Pre-op Practitioner

As the clinical lead for pre‑operative assessment, you will:

• Drive service excellence by embedding evidence‑based practice, continuous quality improvement, and patient safety at every stage of the surgical journey.

• Empower patients by coordinating their journey from assessment to discharge, ensuring they are optimised and supported for surgery.
• Inspire colleagues through mentorship, education, and role‑modelling advanced clinical practice.

What we’re looking for

We want a leader who combines clinical expertise with vision and influence. You will bring:

• First level registration and extensive post‑registration experience.
• Degree‑level education plus qualifications in Clinical Skills Assessment and Non‑Medical Prescribing.(Or working towards)
• Proven ability to make autonomous, complex clinical decisions and lead nurse‑led services.
• Strong communication, management, and mentoring skills to build a high‑functioning team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and alignment with our organisational values.
