Are you keen to step into a leadership role and support a team to develop in a in-patients setting?
We are looking for a Lead Physiotherapist to support the patients on the adult wards in the Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury, and support the Professional Lead Physiotherapist with service development. This role is part-time working 30 hours per week.
You will be working with a diverse, supportive multi-disciplinary team, and have support from the Professional Lead Physiotherapist for Mental Health, and will have responsibility to support physiotherapy assistants and students.
You will be providing physiotherapy input to the 4 adult wards at the Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury. Assessing and treating patients with complex long term neurological conditions, MSK conditions and mobility difficulties. Supporting physical activity on the wards along with the Physical Fitness Practitioner and Physiotherapy Technical Instructors.
This role is eligible for an incentive scheme of £3,500 paid at intervals over an 18-month period. All payments are pro-rata, non-pensionable and subject to a clawback clause. Please note that only employees external to Oxford Health NHS are eligible for this scheme.
The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.
