This is an exciting opportunity to develop as a clinical academic research leader.  The role involves working with the Director of CMORE to deliver the pharmacy department strategy objective to promote and build research capacity across pharmacy. The Lead Clinical Academic Pharmacist will act as an expert and role model for developing clinical academic research skills, in line with national priorities for the pharmacy profession.

Main duties of the job

Working with the CMORE Director, the post holder will  -    engage and support pharmacy staff to develop research skills across all grades and staff groups.   -    be responsible for leading and developing education and training materials for research skills, in collaboration with partner organisations including UCL and local NIHR research centres; infrastructure (such as the Central London Patient Safety Research Centre).   -    Ensure academic output in terms of research funding, conference presentations and peer reviewed publications.
