We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven pharmacist, to join our friendly patient focused team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. You will need to be motivated, organised, and willing to work as part of a team with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude.

Responsible for leading, managing, delivering and developing the clinical pharmacy service to Critical Care.

Looking after our patients is never dull, optimising patient medicines and developing services as part of the critical care team is key.

Main duties of the job

  • Be responsible for the planning, development, delivery, and management of clinical pharmacy services across critical care units on all sites.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and training to the pharmacy team delivering services to critical care, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
  • Oversee medicine-related risk management and ensure full compliance with the Trust Medicines Policy and relevant medicines legislation within the critical care units.
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of pharmaceutical care in alignment with Trust corporate objectives and NHS strategic priorities.
  • Support the Trust’s financial objectives by offering financial analysis and expert advice on medicines management to both the critical care units and the wider Pharmacy Department.
