CT3 LAT (ANAESTHESIA)

Applications are invited for the post of CT3 LAT in Anaesthesia at Ninewells Hospital for 12 months from August 2026
Applicants should have at least 24 months experience in Anaesthesia / Intensive care, and have evidence of having completed RCoA initial assessment of anaesthetic competencies (IAC) and obstetric anaesthesia (IACOA). They must be registered with the General Medical Council with a Licence to Practice. The Postgraduate Dean has confirmed that this post has the required educational and staffing approval.
The successful applicant will receive anaesthesia training aligned with the Royal College of Anaesthetists Stage 1 curriculum and will help support elective and emergency surgical services throughout NHS Tayside (Ninewells Hospital, Perth Royal Infirmary and Stracathro Hospital). NHS Tayside has excellent library facilities and has active teaching and research programmes in which participation is expected and encouraged.
