We are looking a paediatric trained Nurse or Therapeutic Radiographer to take on the keyworker role as Clinical Nurse specialist (CNS) or Specialist Radiographer. Applicants for this exciting role in Paediatric Radiation Oncology, should be knowledgeable, dedicated, and forward-thinking individuals.

The post holder will serve as key worker for all paediatric radiation oncology patients and will take a key role in coordinating and promoting continuity of Paediatric radiotherapy and PBT patient care, ensuring the patient knows who to access for information and advice.  They will provide specialist advice and support to patients and their carers in terms of treatment information and symptom control/toxicity management, supporting families psychosocial needs during relocation to Manchester for treatment, working closely with Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital co-ordinating shared care.

Applicants will be working as part of a national service which offers PBT and radiotherapy to patients across the UK.
