Join us as a Paediatric Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) in the Inner North West Division of London’s largest community healthcare trust. In this role, you’ll provide respite care at home for children with life-limiting conditions, supporting both them and their families. You’ll work under senior staff, ensuring safe, compassionate care. Opportunities to assist in local Special Schools may also be available. Why join?

Details:

  • 37.5 hrs/week, flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
  • Locations: Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, Westminster

Main duties of the job

  • To work as a member of the Kaleidoscope Team to provide care to children with complex health needs or palliative care needs.
  • To undertake training required, becoming clinically competent at providing holistic care for individual children, in a range of community settings.
  • To occasionally work as a member of the Special School Nursing Team, to provide care to children with complex health needs in school, mainly in relation to the safe delivery of enteral feeds.
