Detailed job description and main responsibilities

We are delighted to invite candidates to apply for these very successful FY3/Junior Clinical Fellow posts.

Trainees will rotate between the orthopaedic trauma unit at St Mary’s Hospital which is the regional trauma hub and the elective orthopaedic centre at Charing Cross Hospital.

The Trauma and Orthopaedic Directorate across the AHSC has 24 consultant surgeons, and an academic department with a chair, reader and senior lecturer. There are two fully staffed trauma services, and two elective services one of which offers paediatric and hand surgery, while the other focuses on adult reconstructive surgery.

We offer opportunities for motivated junior doctors, internally and with our partner institutions, for research and postgraduate study.
