Main duties of the job

We are excited to offer the opportunity to join the Heart Team at the Yorkshire Heart Centre, Leeds General Infirmary, as a Junior Clinical Fellow (ST1-2) in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. This fixed term contract is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking experience of cardiology and cardiac surgery at a large tertiary centre. The contract would run from August 2026 until August 2027. These posts will be tailored to meet training needs, including opportunities for trainees to become involved in research, teaching and wider cardiology and surgical skills. The posts would be suitable for individuals who have completed foundation posts (or equivalent), or those who wish to evolve their experience in preparation for higher specialty training.
