Exciting Opportunity: Band 5 Occupational Therapist
We are pleased to share an excellent opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the welcoming and supportive City & Hackney team. This role offers the chance to work within our inpatient services, which include both adult, and specialist wards, and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.
In this position, you will play a key role in the Occupational Therapy Pathway—carrying out assessments on admission and delivering thoughtful, person‑centred interventions. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and the wider Occupational Therapy service to maintain high standards of clinical care. Your work will include a balance of 1:1 interventions and group-based activities, ensuring a holistic and responsive OT presence on the ward.
The successful candidate will be based within the Occupational Therapy department and hold responsibility for one ward. You will also take part in the Band 5 preceptorship programme, supporting your ongoing development, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and engaging in in‑service training.
