As an Information Analyst, you will provide high‑quality information and analysis to the organisation and external stakeholders within either the Surgical or Medicine Division. You will work closely with clinicians and senior managers to understand their needs, develop effective reporting tools, and deliver insights that support informed decision‑making. The role requires strong engagement skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build positive relationships that help improve patient care.

These roles are based within the Business Intelligence Unit at Gloucestershire Hospitals Foundation Trust. The ideal candidates will have strong analytical capabilities, along with the ability to effectively communicate and present complex information to a range of different stakeholders. The candidate will need to be able to work under pressure and be able to prioritise their own workload when there are conflicting deadlines.
We are therefore looking for analysts who have a drive and passion for delivering an exemplar BI service. Individuals who are both forward thinking and solutions orientated.
The post holder primarily has responsibility for the provision of information to both the organisation and our external stakeholders.
The post holder will also be responsible for interrogating large volumes of complex data and use a variety of software and analytical methods to turn this data into intelligence.
The post holder is expected to highlight any areas of concern with regard to data quality and accuracy, and undertake appropriate action as required. The post holder will work as part of a team of analysts and will also be required to work independently at times and manage their own workload. They will need to take a proactive approach with regard to prioritising and negotiating deadlines. Hybrid working arrangements accessible after a qualifying period.
Additional working pattern details: Hybrid work - 2-3 days per week on site
