Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role are: - develop and provide IPC training and education to care home and adult social care partners - undertake the IPC audit programme for care homes - offer bespoke support as needed to care homes in response to incidents or specific challenges - work in partnership with local authority commissioners, sharing intelligence and information - work with health protection colleagues on seasonal projects such as vaccination - provide reports outlining the IPC activity undertaken in care homes and summarising the audit programme - be the main point of contact and the IPC lead for the care home and adult social care economy - support the wider IPC team with additional duties as necessary For more Information about this Job, please contact - Michelle Higgins m.higgins1@nhs.net 0113 8434511 Liz Grogan lizgrogan@nhs.net or 0113 8434511 Please review the Job Description and Person Specification attached for full requirements of the role.
