Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) service has an exciting opportunity for an individual to undertake a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship to become an Infection Prevention and Control Administrative and join the team. The Infection Prevention and Control Administrative role is vital in supporting the IPC service. You'll be developing your knowledge, skills and expertise of business administration and IPC as an Apprentice, learning both on the job and off the job through a programme of study. Working with the current IPC Secretary and IPC team, and wider organisation.
You will learn all aspects of the role whilst completing the Level 3 apprenticeship; working closely with the team secretary and other members of the Infection Prevention & Control team to provide administrative and secretarial support as outlined in the job description. If you are highly motivated, enthusiastic, well organised and are able to work independently and as part of a team and wider organisation, this is the role for you. You will require effective communication skills, for both verbal and written communication and be able to effectively work in partnership working within the Trust and with other wider agencies and organisations in this role. The team offer a supportive environment where you will be able to continue to develop both personally and professionally.
Current hours of work are 8.30-4.30 Monday-Friday, although this will include a day 7.5 hours off the job training, which is to be designated once programme of study commenced, and the post is based between both the Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital sites.
