The Wakefield School Immunisation team are looking to recruit a part time Band 3 Administrative assistant.
You will be part of an innovative, dynamic, fun and supportive team of Nurses, Immunisation Support Workers and Administrators working collaboratively to deliver immunisations to the children and young people of Wakefield. The team are dedicated to improving immunisation rates across the area including children who are hard to reach or no longer in mainstream education.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator with previous experience in a similar role to join our friendly school immunisation team. The applicant will work alongside the existing team of nurses and administrators to support delivery of the school immunisation programme in Wakefield.
This role is busy and demanding, however you will be part of a supportive team who work collaboratively.

Main duties of the job include, managing calls and emails from schools, parents and other departments. Preparing for and attending school immunisation sessions and provide administrative support. Post immunisation session; process session data, resolve any discrepancies and generate reports for external agencies, all to be completed within agreed timeframes.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in administration and be able to perform general duties related to the role to a high standard.
You will need to have a good level of IT skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
Please note, this role is both office and school based so a car driver and access to a car is essential for this role.
The role is 15 hours per week, either 3 days of 5 hours or 2 days of 7.5 hours, which will be set days at the end of the week. Our core working hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Interviews will take place at our base at Tuscany Way Normanton on Monday 11th May.
